On X-Men : apocalypse my work was mainly focus on destroying a building when Psylocke is sliding down it. The challenge was to fracture the building in a very fast and accurate simulation, it had to match the animation perfectly.
I also did some other effects, mud destruction when Quicksilver is getting traped and released by the beast and wall destruction when Cyclopes is traped and released.
All of this destruction were made in Kali, a software developed by MPC and based on DMM solver.
